Bronze for Jade at EYOF
Jade Williams, yesterday, competed in the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) in Hungary and finished in third place winning a bronze medal in the hammer throw competition. Her best throw in the final was 58.62 metres. Jade had broken the 60 metre barrier for the first time the day before achieving a life time best of 61.08 metres to gain automatic qualification to yesterday’s final.
This is a wonderful achievement and we are all very proud of Jade’s continued success.
