Leaving Certificate results for 2021 are due for issue directly to candidates through the Candidate Self Service Portal at 10am on Friday 3 September.

In any subject where a candidate sat the examination and opted to receive Accredited Grades, they will be credited with the better of the two results.

Schools have always provided an important role in offering guidance and support to Leaving Certificate and Leaving Certificate Applied candidates on results day. Due to COVID-19 restrictions we are asking if a student wishes to meet with the Guidance Counsellor he/she should telephone the school to make an appointment to allow them to come to the school at a scheduled time.

As the school will be fully operational this Friday all visits to the school will be in line with public health advice, the school’s COVID-19 Response Plan and the school’s visitor policy.

NPCPP helpline

The National Parent’s Council (Post-Primary) helpline 1800 265 165 will be open from Friday 3 September – Sunday 5 September and from Tuesday 7 September to Friday 10 September from 11am-8pm to provide advice and guidance for candidates and parents. It is staffed by professional guidance counsellors and is supported by the Department of Education.

This helpline will be available at 1800 111135 or 1800 111136 between 9am and 5pm from 3rd to 13th September. Please note the helpline deals with queries relating to the Candidate Self Service Portal and the services provided through the portal.
